Upon completion of my Google Digital Marketing Professional Certificate, I needed to find a way to demonstrate the skills I had obtained actively. Borne from this was my proof-of-concept Eccomerce Platform, Plastique Galleria, a combination of my passions and newfound skills as a digital marketer. Specialising in vintage posters from Japan and around the world, the creation of the store allowed me to go into greater depth with Google Ads, Google Analytics and Shopify…

Introducing:

The Creation of Plastique Galleria was a gratifying passion project. Combining my love for art and popular culture with my newfound skills as a digital marketer, I aimed to create a vintage poster storefront that sold authentic pieces imported from around the world. The target audience is younger millennials who are moving into the next stage of their lives and looking to decorate their personal spaces cost-effectively.

I worked closely with art and paper restorationists and framing and logistics companies based in Cape Town throughout this process. Further honing my project management skills, I worked closely with Visual Artists to realise the final product, leveraging AI to Moodboard and helping inform my partners as to what direction to take.

I Utilised Google and Meta Ads to reach my consumers, with a focus on Europe and The U.S. I was ecstatic to find that my market research efforts had paid off as my first two shipments went to Berlin Germany and Seattle Washington.
